Yes, there`s a five year warranty on workmanship and parts. We offer this unit to be free of manufacturing defects with normal use for five years after date of purchase.
8. Does the fireplace also heat or is it just for decoration?
This fireplace is equipped with a flamebox. The flamebox has a sliding door damper which allows 1500 btu/h when slightly open and maxes out at 13,000 btu/h when fully opened. You can also use the gel cans which are rated at 3,000 btu's per can.
9. Do I need to have special insulation to protect my wall from the heat?
No, the fireplace is fully assembled and is designed to mount on the wall (with hardware that is included) or placed on floor. Simply pull out of carton, mount with hardware supplied, light and enjoy.
